René joined Out There Media from Vodafone MediaSolutions!, where he was Head of MediaService & AdManagement since 2007. He joined Vodafone in 2004 from Razorfish, where he started building his expertise in the areas of Internet, Mobile Services and ITV.
Russell is a leading expert on mobile marketing. MobHappy, his blog about mobile technology and mobile marketing, is one of the most popular focusing on this area. He joined AdMob in 2006 with the remit of launching AdMob into the EMEA market and subsequently became its VP of global alliances. Russell left Admob in February 2011 following Google’s acquisition of AdMob for $750 million.
Jeremy Copp manages the European mobile business for comScore, Inc., overseeing the delivery of mobile market intelligence and media measurement products as well as custom research reports to advertising, media, mobile network operator and handset manufacturer customers within Europe.
Mark is co-founder and CEO of Handmade Mobile, the company behind Flirtomatic, whose mission is to reinvent dating as entertainment for the mobile generation. Flirtomatic has over 4m users and a ground breaking and successful approach to making money on the mobile internet and apps.
Simon is a co-founder and Director of Snaptu which is a Sequoia Capital backed mobile application company, sold to Facebook in April 2011. The mobile application Snaptu gives access to set of social networking and lifestyle cloud based services operated on behalf of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, ESPN, CNN/IBN and various global media organizations.

Ken’s approach to user-centric product design has won recognition at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona 2008 for the SkypePhone, and again in 2009, where the INQ1 was voted Handset of the Year due its pioneering Social Networking integration. Since then, INQ have launched on 12 operators around the world.
Ken was previously Director of Products at Hutchison Whampoa, Director of Handset Marketing at the 3 Group and has also held positions with Motorola, Psion and several Design consultancies.
Rob joined InMobi in December 2009 as Head of Europe and the Middle East, with overall responsibility for building the business in Western and Eastern Europe. He brings deep experience of launching, building and scaling digital advertising. businesses in Europe. Prior to InMobi, Rob was Director of Strategic Partnerships for Europe, Middle East and Africa with Google.
As one of several “founding father”s of Tesco.com, Nick Lansley built web and downloadable applications to enable wine and grocery home shopping on slow modem internet connections.
Nick was recently appointed as an inaugural member of the UK’s Mobile Commerce Joint Industry Committee (MCJIC), an industry initiative established to ensure that businesses are prepared for the opportunities and challenges that accompany the explosive growth in mobile commerce.

He led the business development activities for the organisation & built a network of angels, early stage, venture & corporate investors.
Nicholas Lovell is a former investment banker and web entrepreneur who helps games developers become publishers. He also provides strategic and online marketing advice and is a non-executive director at developer nDreams. Clients have included Atari, Channel 4, Channelflip, Dynamo Games, Firefly Studios, IPC Media, nDreams, Rebellion and Square Enix.
As GM of eBay Classifieds Italy, Vikas Mehta leads the most challenging competitive scenario within the worldwide eBay Classifieds portfolio. Vikas is responsible for the strategic and operational guidance for eBay Classifieds Italy and focuses on customer satisfaction and innovation to aggressively grow market share and revenue.
Before leading the Italian classifieds business, Mehta was a Program Manager at eBay Headquarters in the U.S. Prior to joining eBay in 2008, Mehta worked with Allstate and Ten Fold Corporation focusing on software development and outsourcing strategies.
Mehta completed M.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering and Technology Policy at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Iryna runs mobile marketing for Groupon, which features a daily deal on the best stuff to do, eat, see and buy in more than 500 markets around the world. Her role is wide ranging, covering mobile user acquisition across mobile platforms and international mobile marketing strategy.
Sami Paihonen heads the new global design service and studios at Ixonos. For the past 12 years he has worked in mobile device UE/UI Design first at Nokia and then at Samsung in South Korea. His work experience ranges from strategic planning, research and conceptual development to operational design. In the past few years his role has evolved around design management and “platformization” of user experience.
James has been leading business, strategy and general management functions at leading mobile and mobile services companies for over fifteen years. Before coming to BOKU he was Vice President of Amdocs Interactive division in EMEA and Asia Pacific. Prior to Amdocs, he worked as Vice President, EMEA at the digital commerce software and services provider Qpass.
